Trials sometimes are our Teachers – January 31, 2016

  1. It comes down to trust .... If we are put into situations that we cannot explain, how will we respond to them or try to reason them out? We need to get to the point of trusting that God is in control and that He is worthy to be trusted. There are things that are beyond our ability or capability to understand fully. Proverbs 3:5,6 states, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not onto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path." The best thing going for Job is that his heart was developed in the right direction before adversity struck. Are you preparing and developing your heart in the right direction? When adversity strikes, instead of brokenness, despair and bitterness, there can come forth from it new life and new growth. God's purposes are designed for life and fulfillment. Will you trust Him for it?
